Red Dirt Arts is owned by Joel Smoker, a renowned West Australian artist who works in many mediums. Since 1978 Joel has had exhibitions throughout Australia. Much of his work is inspired by the Kimberley region of Western Australia, the outback, where he was born and raised. The site presents Joel's vision of Australia as a native son, through his work as an artist, ceramicist, photographer, writer and musician.
