The Sandbar is locally owned and operated by Ben Randall, and our team of approximately 30 employees. Ben has spent the last 12 years at his family owned and operated pub, The Paddington Alehouse, which his family has operated for over 25 years. He has been fortunate enough to grow up in and experience first-hand this amazing industry.
At The Sandbar, community involvement is what we are all about. Our team always puts the needs of the community first – and, being locally owned and operated, we know what is needed to accomplish this. We believe that our customers are the ones who make and define a venue, and we certainly hope to be remembered as the best venue in Scarborough.
