Waste Management is the removal or disposal of waste from a location and implies effective disposal in an efficient, safe, healthy and constructive manner. Proper waste management can be implemented to manage the output of sensitive, hazardous materials, medical waste, bulk waste, recyclables or many others. It involves storing the waste (until it can be collected) in a safe manner which does not obstruct the health or aesthetics of the premises. Once the waste is collected, it must be transported safely and delivered to a management station, where it is disposed of correctly. Waste management is a cycle and requires planning and pre-thought to ensure it is done correctly.
