In Australia, Pandanus occur from Port Macquarie in NSW up to Townsville in north Queensland. Pandanus trees are also scattered inland throughout tropical northern Queensland and are considered iconic to north-east NSW and Queensland and are also popular as an ornamental tree. Each pandanus tree has its own unique shape making it a great focal point or feature tree. They are also very hardy and require little maintenance.
