An ideal relaxing stopover for travellers, or for those wishing for a breath of fresh country air, Farm Cottage is halfway between Sydney and Brisbane - 40 minutes north of Tamworth. Enjoy waking up to birdcalls, views of rolling hills and gumtrees. Have a stroll by the creek and do a little fossicking. Walk among the cows and calves as they graze (calving time is between July and October). Enjoy a game of tennis or just relax in the tranquil garden. After dark enjoy the beauty of the stars in the clear country sky. A gourmet breakfast, with homemade jams from our own fruit, is served in the garden or on the verandah of the main house. Local produce is used when in season. Dinner is also available and during winter can be enjoyed in front of the open fire.
