iMINCO provides mining information and resources that are aimed at helping job hunters gain the confidence and the strongest possible chance of getting a mining job.
Valuable information on mining courses is provided, with recommendations for specific mining positions.
As well as advice on relevant mining training, free information is given on future mining projects, where possible job opportunities will arise.
Resume assistance is also offered to cater job applications specifically to mining companies, and showcase mining qualifications and relevant experience. Relevant experience is not necessarily mine site experience, and the equivalent mining competency (previously known as "black coal competencies") can be organised to transfer civil tickets over.
With a variety of jobs including project management, cleaning, catering and administrative positions, mining work is not just for machinery operators and tradespeople. iMINCO provide training advice for many types of mining positions.
Of the courses iMINCO may recommend, the Standard 11 Mining Induction is the most widely recognised mining safety induction.
