I am Abu a conga player based in Melbourne Australia. I have many years experience playing congas, bongos and darabukah in reggae, latin and funk bands all over Australia. I am available for gigs, recordings and even the odd jam as long it's good crowd and cool venue. I don't mind sitting in with a band as long as it's fun and the crowd is good and the other players are fun to play with. I don't like doing fifty rehearsals just to do one gig that might go ahead. I can play to almost anything so in most cases I can just turn up on the night and it will sound good as long as you or your band has rhythm. I like to playing with good reggae or latin bands, but also like playing with acoustic guitar and have a lot of experience at this.
